Optimise Minerals exists to make High-Pressure Slurry Ablation accessible to mining operations across EMEA and Central Asia — with local presence and direct access to the technology's developers.
Optimise Minerals was founded by Joe Chappell and Tony Lawson — two people who have spent their careers turning mineral processing technology into real operational results, and who have done it together before.
At a global mineral processing company, Joe in sales and Tony in engineering led the shift from selling products to solving customers' operational challenges — building and delivering a brownfield optimisation strategy that moved the business from a product-led model to a customer-led one, focused on the problems plants actually face. Blending commercial and engineering thinking, they built a value-selling approach that ran across departments and put the customer's recovery, grade and cost outcomes at the centre.
Optimise Minerals applies that same philosophy to High-Pressure Slurry Ablation. As DISA Technologies' appointed agent for EMEA and Central Asia, we pair direct access to the technology's developers with a team that understands the region, the engineering and the commercial realities of a working plant. We're deliberately small and focused — the people you talk to are the people who understand the technology and stay with your project from the first conversation through to commissioning.
It's the same conviction that shaped our careers: the value isn't in the equipment — it's in what it does for your operation.
Founded in 2018 by Greyson Buckingham and John Lee, DISA Technologies develops and commercialises HPSA — its patented mineral-liberation platform — for both active mineral processing and legacy-material remediation. The name is pronounced like "disassociate," reflecting the core idea: separating valuable minerals from waste. Optimise Minerals is DISA's appointed agent for HPSA across EMEA & Central Asia.
HPSA has commercial installations in North America, with independent third-party verification. DISA's remediation work is validated through a U.S. EPA treatability study and licensed under a first-of-its-kind U.S. NRC Source Materials License — evidence of the technology's pedigree, though Optimise Minerals' focus is mineral-processing applications across EMEA & Central Asia.
We focus on operators across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia — bringing a local point of contact and direct access to DISA's technical teams to a region with significant base-metal, precious-metal, battery-mineral and industrial-mineral production.
Tell us about your operation and we'll tell you whether HPSA is worth a closer look.
